Updates, backups, security, and hosting handled by a DevOps engineer who knows you by name. Monthly cancellable, hosted on an optimized server in the Netherlands, with one consistent point of contact.
You know your WordPress site needs updates, but you're not sure if it's safe to run them. You've been dismissing a warning about an outdated PHP version for months. Or you once updated a plugin and your contact form stopped working.
Maybe you're with a large hosting provider where you get a ticket number instead of a real answer. Or your original web builder no longer has time for maintenance.
Your site matters to your business. Keeping it healthy shouldn't have to be your specialty.
I maintain WordPress sites for business owners who want to stop worrying about their website in the best possible way. No hassle, no stress, just a site that works.
Here is how I do it.
I don't blindly update WordPress core, plugins, and themes. With Plus and Pro, I test updates in a staging environment first: a copy of your site where I verify everything still works. Only then do I update the live site. If something still goes wrong, I roll back from the daily backup. Updates can have unexpected performance impact too. I keep an eye on that as well.
Your site runs behind Imunify360: a firewall, malware scanner, and intrusion prevention system active 24/7 at server level. That's fundamentally different from a plugin running inside WordPress itself. It works a layer deeper and also blocks attacks WordPress never even sees.
Plus and Pro also include WP Guardian (Patchstack): a service that spots known vulnerabilities in your plugins and themes before they can be exploited. I get the alerts, not you.
Your site runs on my dedicated server in a datacenter in Amsterdam. This is not shared hosting where you compete with other websites. Your site gets guaranteed CPU, memory, and storage. The server runs on an AMD EPYC processor with NVMe storage and CloudLinux, so I can assign resources precisely per customer.
It sounds technical, because it is. For you, it means predictable speed and stable uptime.
I monitor your site 24/7 for uptime and performance. If something breaks, I usually know before you do. But I don't wait for breakage. I reach out proactively when I see a paid plugin nearing end-of-life, software components drifting out of sync, or a page loading unnecessarily slow, for example because an embedded video is dragging down the full page.

Which package fits you best? Let's discuss it.
I'm Jorijn Schrijvershof, a freelance DevOps engineer based in Oosterhout. By day, I design and run infrastructure for organizations like Schiphol and the Dutch National Police. I apply the same discipline and standards to the WordPress sites I maintain for smaller businesses.
That's exactly what makes this different from most maintenance providers: I don't just manage your WordPress installation. I manage the full server your site runs on, from operating system and firewall to database and caching configuration.
You always communicate directly with me. No helpdesk, no ticket queue, no rotating contacts. You email or WhatsApp me, and I respond.
This does not scale to hundreds of customers. That's the point.
A no-obligation conversation of about 20 minutes. We review your current setup: where you're hosted, who built the site, where the pain points are, and what you expect from maintenance. No sales pitch. I just want to see if it's a fit.
I assess your site's technical state: WordPress version, PHP version, plugins, known vulnerabilities, backup setup, and load speed. Then we discuss findings clearly so you know exactly where things stand.
I migrate your site to my server and set up monitoring, backups, security, and caching. This usually takes 1 to 3 business days. Your site stays reachable throughout the process.
From that point on, I take ownership. After two to four weeks, you receive an initial report on what has been done and how your site is performing.
"Jorijn took over our website maintenance and resolved the technical issues that blocked incoming requests. Since then, everything runs smoothly again. He responds quickly, thinks pragmatically, and feels like a reliable partner—our IT problems are in safe hands."
"I already had a website running, but my previous host was slow to respond and never really there for me. Moving my site and hosting to Jorijn should have happened much earlier. The migration was seamless with zero downtime, and he optimized everything so the site is faster and more secure. What I appreciate most is his clear, no-jargon communication and how quickly he helps when something comes up."
"Jorijn is highly skilled — he delivers clean work, understands our needs and implements them exactly as discussed. He responds quickly and effectively, is technically very well versed, and is a pleasant person to work with."
Not necessarily. Most sites I take over have backlog in maintenance. I handle that during migration. If anything falls outside package scope, we discuss it up front. No surprises afterward.
No. I handle everything. You do get cPanel access if you want to log in yourself, but you do not need to. Most clients never log in, and that's perfectly fine.
Yes, monthly. No yearly lock-in and no long cancellation periods. You receive a full backup of your site and are free to move on.
I roll it back. I make daily backups, and with Plus and Pro I test updates in staging first. If something still breaks on the live site, from a white screen to a critical error, I restore it without extra charges.
Yes. WooCommerce needs extra care during updates because of payment and shipping plugin dependencies. That's exactly why staging (Plus and Pro) is valuable.
After our introduction call and quick scan, I plan the migration. In most cases your site runs on my server within a week.
Small tasks like fixing a typo or swapping an image are handled along the way. Larger work is billed at EUR 95/hour ex VAT. Pro includes 30 minutes monthly for this type of work.
No, hosting is included in the package. That's intentional: I can only guarantee speed, security, and stability if I also manage the server. You do not pay extra for hosting. It's included.
Yes. Email on your own domain is included in every package, including anti-spam and virus scanning. During migration, I ensure your email keeps working.
Book a no-obligation 20-minute introduction call. We discuss your situation and I'll give honest advice, even if that means you can handle it yourself.
